About the Role:
As a FREC 3 Medic, you will provide high-quality pre-hospital care at public events, private functions, and commercial venues. You’ll work as part of a professional medical team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of attendees, staff, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver immediate first aid and life-saving interventions within your FREC 3 scope of practice.
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients, escalating to senior clinicians or emergency services where required.
• Maintain accurate patient care records and follow confidentiality protocols.
• Assist in setting up and packing down medical posts and equipment.
• Liaise professionally with clients, event organisers, and other emergency services.
• Uphold health & safety standards and infection control procedures.
• Represent the organisation’s values: Prepared. Professional. Proven.
Requirements:
• Valid FREC 3 qualification (First Response Emergency Care – Level 3).
• Current First Aid at Work and Basic Life Support certifications (if not integrated).
• Good understanding of basic airway management, trauma care, and patient assessment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors or on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varying shift patterns.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
• Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential).
